Hi everyone , I'm Naneen and new to the forum.

I was diagnosed with grade 3 idc with a trace of hormone reactor. I had the tumour removed and was thankfully advised that there was no cancer in the surrounding tissue margin or in my limphnodes. I have to start chemotherapy in a couple of weeks . I will be firstly receiving Paciaxel once a week for 9 weeks then EC every three weeks for three months. I have been advised that I will also need radiotherapy. Has anyone ever had this same treatment plan? It has been just been over a month since my operation and I'm still trying to get my head round everything. I was asked to visit my dentist to make sure my teeth would not give me any problems during chemo. I had to visit an emergency dentist as all dentist are closed for now due to the coronavirus. I was informed that due to dentist not being able to carry out any other procedures I will have to get five teeth out as these teeth will no doubt cause me problems during chemotherapy . I was upset at the thought of me loosing teeth but more so as they are at the front of my mouth. I was then informed that I will not be able to have a denture made /messured to replace the teeth at this time as unfortunately dentist cannot carry out this procedure until they can resume their normal services. Anyho It's been a bit of a roller coaster this month, i did manage to squeeze a laugh out at my sisters reacton when I told her that I was going to be toothless and hairless!! Which I could not belief I was saying. I'm glad I have found this forum and would be grateful of your insight. Thanks Naneen
