Hi there ...
So sorry you've had to join us, but so glad you found our little safe place .. I had a grade 3 back in 2017 , came on here, scared witless.... as that time waiting for things to happen is the worse ... the mind goes into overdrive... the "what ifs" are overwhelming... but that's really normal....
I started here with another 6 /7 newbies ... all different stages and treatments to their Brest cancer .. we helped each other through the tuff times and had a big high 5 for the good times ... it's just like a rollercoaster ride .. ups and downs ... but it is doable... hold on in there ...
I'll send you a pair of pink vertual boxing gloves.... when your ready, get them on, and join us in the cancer boxing ring... ready to kick it's ***.... it doesn't want us strong , it wants us to lay down and never get up.. then it feels stronger, well don't let it, if it knocks you down , that's o.k .. but then get back up ... wer all in that ring with you ..
By the way, looking back, my masectomy was the least painful .. only needed a couple of paracetamol... though the arm pit does ache and needs lots of gentle exercise after ... but that takes a fare old while to use again .. after they take lymph nodes from there .. those other ladies that started with me, are all still here, we didnt loose one, and one lass has had a new amazing baby too ... so hold on in there ..sending you a vertual hug.... Chrissie xx
