Anxiety is a terrible thing, Can you speak to the doctor about the changes? That is what I would advise. I would defintiely tell them of the changes since the doctor last saw or spoke to him. Best phone your surgery, tell them of the changes in ear and also the cough after the flu in feb, the surgery will direct you on what to do. It is important to mention the changes, not trying to scare you, doctors can resasure us.

Hi he only had the biopsy done 2nd March and he's has got a follow up appointment for that next month , dr did say the cough could be end of a chest infection or allergies and because he's type 2 diabetic it's taking longer to shake off its jut I think the worst every time

I'm sorry your husband is going through this at this difficult time.

Please don't worry about the cough being connected to the skin cancer. Basal cell doesn't spread internally, only on the skin, so it won't be causing the cough. Perhaps your husband has had a mild dose of Covid-19 without realising & that is causing the lingering cough? All I can suggest is that you ring the hospital to see if his May appointment can be brought forward so that the new spot can be looked at but please mention about the cough when you ring - if they think there is any chance he may have/has had the virus recently they may not want to bring the appointment forward.

A diagnosis of basal cell means that your husband will always be prone to getting another one so I'm pretty sure that is what the second spot is. Try not to worry too much as it's not invasive & it will be treated once your husband sees the consultant again.
