In limbo

My hero of a dad was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer on March 17th.He had fought cancer of the larynx 27yrs ago and won, them cancer of the tongue 2 years ago and we thought he had won.I think it has metastasised. He has a lung biopsy Tommorow.I am really frightened with this Coronavirus and feel totally unsupported. His GP didn't even know a week later.I am extremely at risk from Coronavirus, moved in with dad the day we found out and left my partner and bed bound mother in law at home. She has carers 4 times a day so I couldn't risk being between home and dads. Its a terrible situation

    Hi Ruane,

Welcome to our forum.I am so sorry to hear of this latest diagnosis for your dad.

It sounds as iif you are having a tough time with your mother-in-law too. These uncertain and unprecedented times are making things more difficult for all of us, but it sounds as if you are doing the right thing.

I sincerely hope that your dad's biopsy gets you both the answers you need and, that you both stay clear of the Coronavirus.

Do please keep in touch and letus know how he gets on. We are always here for you.

I shall be thinking of him tomorow.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine
