Hi. My name is Zoe. Im 36 with 3 small children 7, 11, 13. I got diagnosed with Stage IIB grade 2 squamous cell cancer of the cervix with possible obturator node in October 2019. I went through intense radiotherapy and chemotherapy till 24th december 2019. I saw my consultant in february and got told it.is still there but shrinking. Im also now going through early menopause from my treatment. All the doctors and nurses etc have been amazing. Iv been told its cureable but like you i have no idea. Just stay positive and strong.xxx
yes me to 3 children 10 ,4 and 8months im 28, youve had a lot going on then! so scared to start treatment, did you suffer from symptoms before treatment iv had the worst pelvic and back pain for months on morfine for it, i hope your journey hasnt been to awfull x
Its been hard not gona lie. Trying to look after yourself but be a mummy too. I had to go to charing cross hospital in hammersmith for my treatment everyday execpt weekends. I had heavy bleeding with huge clots before my treatment. But now just get alot of discharge have to were pads as its so much told its just the tumor breaking down. Have an MRI on 17th March which im so nervous about. Its been 3 months and getting lots of aches and pains and tiredness still got told can take along time to get back to "normal"
Hi Christine, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in February this year. Started treatment 2 wks ago. Chemo Monday's, and 5 days radiotherapy for 6 wks.
