Hi! My mom had lymphadenopathy (left side groin area) which was planned as a suspected hernia surgery and results came back - squamous cell carcinoma(in some places transitional). She has done all blood tests, urine tests, MRI, 2x CT scans( for all abdomen up to lungs), checked bladder, colon, ovaries, womb - biopsies all clear. Skin cancer not visible. Where to look next? What kind of cancer can be with this type of cells?
She is 57 years old, extremely active and healthy. Feeling great and cannot believe something is wrong with hear.
Doctors decided to start chemo, however, she almost think that it could be a mistake in results.
