The diagnosis of primary not found is very hard for any patient. It is natural to want to know where it is and later has it been dealt with.

It is also natural to feel this cant be right I feel fine so it must be a mistake. The thing with cancer is in its early stages you dont feel unwell or anything you can put your finger on in most cases. i am only speaking from personal experience not from a trained medic opinion.

I was told by CT tech that CT can only pick up a cancer over a certain size if its very small it wont show up on CT.

SC carcinoma is a cancer of certain skin cells as you will know by now. There are areas of the body its likely to show up ie: Cervix, skin, oral cavity to name just a few your mum seems to have had most areas checked but you didnt mention oral so maybe worth checking.

My SCC was oral and I only found it because I had a cracking sore throat infection.I would not have found it otherwise as it it was not obvious and had no symptoms so my bad throat was a blessing in disguise.
