Am so confused. My mum has just been diagnosed with colon cancer in her large Bowel on the left side. We have been told it's advance cancer. Is advance cancer stage 4? Also they have said we have 3 options surgery which is life threatening, chemo (my mum is diabetic) or no treatment.

surgery is a definite no, and my mum has said no to chemo as she doesn't feel she can go through with it she's in 70's very fatigue and said she rather not prolong with chemotherapy, also as she's diabetic we already struggle to control her sugar levels due to her very poor diet and the chemotherapy is harder if you are diabetic.

baring her age and poor health in mind does anyone know how long she would have? As I know stage for is advanced and neither her age or health are on her side.
