Hi in late Feb I wrote that my friend had a raised CA125. She and they were thinking it was ovarian cancer.

she had a ultrasound and everything was fine but there was fluid on her abdomen and pelvis. She was sent to see a consultant gynaecologist and he referred her for a CT scan. And checked her CA125 levels again and her CA -19 the CA 125 level had increased and the CA 19 level was raised.

the results came through on weds and she has primary peritoneal cancer. She is now awaiting a biopsy. But we are hopeful as it's the primary cancer.
