  • Hello Lace

Hoping the procedure goes well for you tomorrow... yes, I know what it's like from the shock of a diagnosis to finding out the staging .... for me, the waiting was worse than the final diagnosis - which came as a relief.  Once you have all the information, you'll be able to move forward.  So sorryto hear that you're in pain too... are you being treated for that ?  Do let us know how you get on tomorrow.  Best Diane

  • Hi Diane

how are you doing ? Are you currently having treatment ?
can I ask what stage you were diagnosed . Yes I will let you know how tomorrow goes again thank you x

  • Hi Ben

thank you it's good to know I'm not alone

  • Hi Lace

Thanks and I'm 55 and was diagnosed with cervical cancer, stage 2B in Oct/Nov last year... though at one stage i thought it was ovarian, as I read the results from the first ultrasound in August which noted "no normal ovarian tissue found"... which scared the life out of me.  Nothing came of that, but they found a 4cm cervical tumour two months later.  It just took forever to get to the staging, and by then I was a total wreck.  I had chemo-radiotherapy from Nov-Jan, still waiting for the all clear.  But I feel that with all the new strange pains that I have (I suspect from the radiation) ... that I will have lots of interesting things going wrong with me in the future.  Hoping you get some relief from the pain tomorrow... and can well understand that you want to know what you're dealing with .... my sincerest best wishes for you... I'm sure many on this forum will wish you good luck tomorrow and the future. Do keep posting with how you're doing, it always helps to talk.  Best Diane
