Hi there
I'm 43, no children and a BRCA1 carrier.
My mum passed away from fallopian tube cancer in 2012 at 59 years old and my auntie is still battling it.
To prevent it, I decided to remove tubes and ovaries on January the 8th. Unfortunately they could only remove my tubes and found endometriosis. The histology test showed a grade 3, 3mm fallopian tube cancer in my left tube.
Now they want to do a radical hysterectomy on 5 March and possibly chemo after.
I don't know what to do... some friends say it seems too much and radical and I should consider alternatives... I'm feeling confused and would appreciate advice from people who might have had a similar experience. Anyone out there please?
Thank you
