Hi, just looking for anyone's experiences of SABR. My 86 year old Mum has an 8mm lung nodule that had grown from 4mm in six mo the. A PET scan showed that it was very active. She has heart failure and other health problems so is being prepared for3-5 sessions of SABR. It's being described as potentially curative so I guess there's a chance it won't work? I'm very concerned about side effects though we've been told it's well tolerated. It all seems so matter of fact and straightforward when the oncologist talks about it but then we come home and worry and it all seems a big deal! I do t think it has sunk in that she even has cancer. Thanks in advance for any info x
