Encapsulated Papillary Carcinoma of the Breast

Hi

I was diagnosed with Encapsulated/Encystic Papillary Carcinoma probably High Grade, last week. A rare form, even more so for a pre menopausal 46 year old like me. This type usually appears in women post menopausal and aged 60-80!!

My Lumpectomy and SNB was done today.  The Surgeon spoke to me after and advised that the lump was extremely close to my sternum and he couldn't take as much clear margins as he would have liked. Also my core biopsy on my Lymph nodes came back negative but he was going to take two to double check. He took four in the end, which I understand is the maximum he can take, any more than this is then classed as lymph node clearance.

I just want to know if anyone else, on here, has had/has this type of cancer and what the next step could be in terms of treatment? I'm guessing further surgery to get clear margins probably isn't an option due to location. My surgeon is discussing it in MDT and my follow up is in two weeks time xxx Thank you my lovelies  xx
