I'm so sorry ... it's heartbraking when someone we love gets cancer ... but please know breast cancer has come a long way ... you hear all the sad ones who loose their journey... but honestly .. there's lots of breast lasses on here .. I came on in 2017 scared like you are now .. found another 5 / 6 others going through it and newly diagnosed.... all different stages and treatments... but we all held on together ...
Yes it's really scary ... it's the unknown ... l had a grade 3 her 2 neg oestrogen positive lump... thought my time here was up ... but I cryed / cussed cancer .. took a long time on my own getting those feelings out .. then my daughter in law said ... no more what ifs... no more panicking... well take it as it comes ... and well do it together... and she and my son were with me every step of the way .. diagnosis/ full right masectomy... everything ...
Cancer wants us all to brake ... lay down and never get up.... but I truly believe getting some boxing gloves on and join us all in the ring ready to kick it's butt ... does help ... it's not about winning or loosing.. it's about looking it in the eye even when we are scared silly ... and a hand to hold along the way ... someone to admit wer scared .. and have lots of hugs ... well it means the world ...
And where are those other 6 lasses ... most have gone back to their life post cancer.... and occasionally pop on here sometimes .. if you see the thread "the good and bad" all our stories are on there...
