Fifteen days ago my man was diagnosed with metastatic liver cancer; today, the primary was confirmed as the pancreas.  He is only 63 and our plans for retirement were starting in 2020.  I have read lots of posts but I'm not sure what to write, think or say right now. But maybe it will help to talk anonymously.

  • Sorry to read your post. It is very hard to take in that someone close has cancer. Your head will be all over the place! You have to remember each case is different and what works for one won't others. I sadly lost my Mum back in June to pancreatic cancer which had spread to the liver. Diagnosed the start of may but very quickly passed away due to so many complications. I had so many questions daily. My thoughts go out to you as it is such a difficult time. Do you have access to Macmillian nurses within the hospital or local? I went to speak to a lady who at the time gave me so much information about the cancer and possible next steps etc... It really helped.
