Sorry all, I've had the dreaded cold. 

Is it normal with stage 2b cervical cancer to have pain in and above the hip bone? I've been suffering a couple of days but don't now know if it's related or a separate issue xx

I replied to your message-sorry for the delay but we were having a few days break in Krakow before my surgery. Yes, hip pain is very commonly reported by many women I speak to on other groups, and I had this myself...I had to walk with a stick for a while. The pain eventually disappeared several months after my treatment finished and I was told it was nothing to worry about once my consultant had reviewed my mri scans. I was just told to take over the counter painkillers, but I didn’t actually bother..I found sitting with a hot water bottle very soothing instead! xx

Thankyou for your kind replies. I always feel like I'm making up a new condition to sit next to the cancer because when I tell people my legs, arm, chest hurts im looked at like a hypochondriac so I won't tell anymore
