I'm newly diagnosed with a rare goblet cell carcinoid tumour awaiting results of a scan this week feeling petrified and the research I've found on it is very limited.
Sorry I've no knowledge of that cancer ... but hopefully put it in search engine and see what comes up .. though I'd never put symptoms in search engine as that's always bad ..
Or give your oncology team a call and ask them where there is more info ... but welcome to our little chat place .. all different types of cancer , and different treatments... but we all have one thing in common... kicking cancers butt.... and we do know all those emotions that come with it ...
Hi , chrissie thank you for replying , I've researched my tumour a little but with all the medical jargon it's hard to really grasp and understand what its telling me but I've got loads of questions for my consultant at our next meeting so hopefully I will be much more informed then x
Always a good idea to take someone with you, with pen and paper .. write down All your questions .. and get your friend / relative to write down the answers ... and if there's anything you don't understand... ask them to tell you in simple terms that you can understand .. this is your health so make sure your happy with reply ..
