Brain Tumour Diagnosis

Hi, I have recently been told after a scan that I have a brain tumour and had been referred to the neurologist whom wanted some more tests and now I'm awaiting those results. He said that it could take up to 2 weeks for the results to come back and then I would be informed of the results. Im now unsure as to what to expect if those results confirm the worst and I was hoping somebody on here would be able to help with what to expect.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm really sorry to read this, and I'm sure the waiting will be difficult. Unfortunately I can't really help in terms of what to expect. I'm sure it's going to be very hard not to think about it, but try not to dwell on anything too much - and some people say it helps to keep busy and distracted to a certain extent.

    Having said that, if you think of any questions or concerns you'd like to discuss with the neurologist when you get your results, then make a note of these.

    Do use this forum as much as you'd like during the waiting and after you get your results - it's a very welcoming and understanding community of people here.
