Hello Lilyange
I'm really sorry to hear that you've been dealing with anxiety since your cancer diagnosis. It's not uncommon to struggle with these kind of things whilst having treatment.
I'd urge you to speak to your GP, Consultant or nurse specialist as soon as you're able to. They will be able to help with medication and possible referral to a counsellor or other health professional to support you.
We've some information on our website about coping emotionally and yo umight find it helpful to have a look at the Anxiety UK website too. They have some information about grounding techniques and relaxation apps that can help you cope. Don't forget that if you need to talk to someone then the Samaritans are available 24/7.
But as I've said, it's important that you speak to one of the clinicians who are responsible for your care and treatment about how you're feeling. I really hope that things settle and improve for you soon.
Best wishes,
Jenn

Hi Lily
just to say im feeling exactly like you after being diagnosed a week ago i did get some help from my dr so please take the advive given. You will have good and bad days where are u on this journey hun ? x
Thank you Jenn so much for reply, yes I've let my Oncology team know and they've said it's normal with only finding out and for a while after, most people go through the shock, fear worry panic stages,I'm praying this leaves me soon as I've just had my 3rd chemo yesterday and feel fine,it might hit me tomorrow, but il deal with that,I'm also seeing a counselor whom himself is in 7 year remission,so that's helping a lot, thank you again,xx
Hi Anxious13 I was diagnosed about 9 weeks ago, got my 3 rd Chemotherapy yesterday,no sickness through any of them thank God,I feel good today, might not be over the coming days, and will have to get through them as best I can, hopefully it won't be too bad, ingot relaxers from my To which is helping slightly, when the fear grips and the panic attack start it's so cruel, praying every minute of every day for my mental health to get through all this, xxx
