Hi,

I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't get the correct results at the time. Who gave you the results last month? There has certainly been a breakdown in communication by someone and it will now cause you more worry because of the delay in further surgery. 

If you had received the correct results a month ago you would have been having your Wide Local Excision around now. If they arrange your surgery in the next two weeks you won't have waited too much longer so the chance of it spreading over the last few weeks is minimal. Make sure you ring them tomorrow if you hear nothing and I hope that the results show that it is early stage. If they give you a pre-surgery appointment make sure you take someone with you so you don't miss any information given to you. Good luck and please let us know how you get on.

Hi. I can completely relate to how you're feeling. Your words describe what I am going hrough alone and to be honest extremely anxious and scared. I'm in a mess emotionally and as you say " Fear of the unknown" and my imagination creates a whole lot of negative scenarios. I had a mole removed and have been told it's melanoma and I am now waiting for the dreaded call from the Dermatologist. I had Melanoma in my leg in 2015 and ended up 2 yrs unwell having 3 op's and then a small one on my back. In 2019 I got the all clear and now I'm back to where I started. it's a depressing state to be in especially with no support or people close enough to listen to my concerns and worries. Let's just try and live in the moment and cross each bridge when we come to it. Easier said than done as we are masters at Projecting and anticipating the worse.
