Thanks in advance

  • Hello Parkie85 and welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with cancer. Although we have members here with many different diagnosis I think most all of them will be able to empathise with the feeling of it all being "a bit of a spin". There is a lot to take in.

I've looked through the forum but unfortunately I can't find anyone else who has posted about the particular diagnosis that you've been given. I can see that there is a group called Fight Bladder Cancer who have an online forum and I wondered if you might be able to connect with others who have the same diagnosis and/or have gone through the same kind of treatments that you will be. You can find out more here

Ahead of your appointment with the specialist next week I wondered if you might find it helpful to talk things through with one of our team of nurses. It may be that they're able to help with the questions that you might want to ask the team treating you and give you some advice & support ahead of the appointment. You're most welcome to call them. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that your appointment next week is positive Parkie. Do let us know how you get on and I'm sure the community will do their best to support you.

    Best wishes,
