Whilst having an mri scan for my shoulder they picked up a lesion on my upper part of my right lung. After waiting, wondering what next rang the hospital. After 3 months was sent for a ct scan to check to see if it had grown.  The not knowing- the waiting, my mind thinking all sorts....The hospital not explaining.   I eventually got some answers from the Doctor's secretary- the doctor was away on hoilday, fair enough but now eight weeks of wondering what they were going to do, being his secretary couldn't say about the 1st scan but said the notes say i will be send an appointment for another scan.....The lesion is 6mm & thankfully the scan showed it hadn't grown, they're now going to leave it a year & then scan again.... I hated being left in limbo & at to ring a few times to find out what they were going to do- they were considering a needle into it but felt it was too small.....   My mum died from lung cancer so worried me even more..... Although i was so relieved it hadn't grown am thinking a lot could happen in a year!
