  • Hi Beatthis1982

I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer in March at 35 - I've now gone through chemo and radiotherapy and am waiting on an operation. It is terrifying but you will be amazed at what you are able to overcome after what feels like the darkest times.

It helped me to know that I was not alone and to focus on the fact that it is treatable- this site is amazing and if it helps at all to chat to someone of a similar age in the same boat message me anytime.

  • Hi there, am sorry to hear of your diagnosis, this site will certainly help you through as everyone is so supportive and understanding. What were your symptoms if you don't mind me asking? Best wishes to you.

  • Good evening I had my gallbladder taken out 2018 and kept going to the toilet 6-7 times which is quite normal they say after it is removed then I started to pass blood and feel like I wasn't emptying my bowel properly. So I went to my drs and fought for an colonoscopy which showed a tumour in my rectum I've just finished chemo and radio and still cooking as they say then await another ct and mri then surgery a long road but positivity is the key.xx
