A warm welcome to our forum! I am very sorry to hear about your wife's diagnosis and I hope that you manage to find a hospital that offers SLNB as a first step. 

Unfortunately as mentioned in our terms and conditions , we don't allow hospitals or healthcare professionals to be named or recommended on Cancer Chat. I am really sorry about this  but I thought I would share some useful information with you which hopefully will help you a little.

We also have information here comparing NHS treatment with private treatment which may be of interest to you as well as this page on getting a second opinion which may be something to consider in your case. 

Perhaps you could also give our nurses a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and they may have some useful suggestions for you to help you look for the information you need or at least point you in the right direction. 

Hopefully you will also hear from some of our other members who have been affected by vulval cancer and they will come and share their experiences with you.

Oops. Thanks for the reply. We would still be grateful if people could share their experiences in this post on how they went about finding a private specialist. On top of the generic advice, we are finding reading people’s personal stories very helpful and supportive...
