Womb cancer

I had a uterine ablation and polyps removed about 10 weeks ago and surgeon also done a smear test. Results have come back and he's said they "suspect" I have cancer in the neck of my womb. Would a consultant use that word if he wasnt pretty sure? Why wouldn't he just say I need further tests? I'm so worried right now so hoping someone has been told "suspected" and got the all clear. Please help

I'm waiting for a biopsy after been told that they suspect I have endometrial cancer, I was a little taken aback by the doctor saying that as I would have thought they'd have waited for definite results before saying it. I'm not sure why they use them words, maybe preparing us for the worst case scenario ‍♀️

Hi the exact same has happened to me today i just presumed the gynogologist told me it definitely looks like something sinister because he obviously sees it daily my partner said he was surprised and said maybe it's just to prepare you incase of the worst.x

I hope all of our gynaecologists are wrong, keep us posted. I think I get my MRI results tomorrow so I'll let you know. Good luck
