Newly diagnosed Mother with primary CNS lymphoma

Mother with primary CNS lymphoma

Does anyone have experience of this type of lymphoma? My mother who is 68 has had a biopsy revealing that this is what she has (B cell NHL).

She is extremely weak however steroids have been shrinking it. She is due to start chemotherapy soon and I'm worried that she is too weak.

Appreciate any comments.

Hi Abster and welcome to Cancer Chat.
I can see that [@Mrs_A]‍ was trying to find others with CNS lymphoma last year so hopefully she'll pop back on the forum to share her experiences with you now I've mentioned her in this post. You may want to join in on this discussion as well.
Hopefully other members that I may have missed will pop by to share their experiences but you're more than welcome to have a chat with our cancer nurses about your mum's diagnosis. You can call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
I'm really glad the steroids have been working and hope she will be strong enough to start her chemo.
