  • Hello Torn2019

Welcome to the forum and I'm so very sorry to hear about the news that your Son was given last week. It's understandable that you're feeling devestated and lost by it all at the moment.

It can be very hard waiting for test results and for treatment to start. Hopefully now when your Son sees the specialist in 2 weeks all the results will be back and they will be able to discuss what treatment options are most appropriate for his situation.

I'm going to suggest that you give our team of nurses a call. Sometimes it can help to talk things through and I'm sure that they will be able to offer some advice and support if you do ring them. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

Do keep in touch and let us know how you're doing. I'm sure that the community here will do their best to support you.

    Best wishes,

  • Hello Torn2019,

I am so sorry for your loss. Sincere condolences on behalf of the Cancer Chat team. Losing your son at such a young age is truly heartbreaking and it's sad that he didn't get to have any treatment.

Thank you for taking the time to come back here and let us know. We are thinking of you during this difficult time and wanted you to know that the forum is always there for you if you need to talk to others who have sadly also lost a child to cancer.
