Sorry you've been through so much ...  and as someone who got an infected scar ..  please keep an eye on it .. hope your on strong anti biotics.... keep a look out it doesn't feel really hot ... if worried get it looked at strait away .. as I had to have mine drained twice ...

That could be why your feeling really emotional too ... but sounds like good news ... and I'm sure they will keep an eye on you ... if still unsure , write your questions down and call your oncology team .. I did a couple of times and they'd ring me back at end of day ... and found their help really good ...
