Hi, I’ve just been diognosed with triple negative breast cancer. Surgery next month. I’m so overwhelmed and scared. Would love to talk to someone who has also been recently diognosed.
I was offered the cold cap but turned it down, I had me head shaved and a bespoke hair system made as it was important I looked the same to my children as it was the one thing they were worried about. The stubble started to fall out about 2 weeks after my first cycle. It started growing back after my 5th cycle, so I have stubble again. I’ve also lost nearly all of my eyelashes and the majority of my eyebrows after cycle 4. I got a eyebrow stencil kit which does the trick and I have a fringe and wear glasses so it’s not so obvious, just takes a bit longer getting ready in the morning. Hair from other places is no more either, not started growing back yet either. I wasn’t sad about losing my hair either, had bigger things to worry about at the time.
