hi everyone,

About 5 weeks ago now, my mum was in hospital and was very poorly with stomach pains and different bowel movements. After lots of blood tests and ct scans the doctors found a shadow on her colon and lesions on her liver, fast forward a few weeks she now has a stoma fitted because the tumor was pressing on her small bowel. The biopsy came back it’s colon cancer.

Tomorrow is the first appointment with the doctor and oncologist to discuss the results.

Please can I have some insight/advice what the appointment tomorrow will be like? It’s all very new to us and i would like to understand a little about the appointment before I go in with my mum so I know how to support her.
