Hi Alison, chances are you are in shock as its healthy to keep your sense of humour, but not to the point of denial.  You can get a lot of support from this forum, but a bit more info would be useful, where is the cancer? ( Breast?). If you feel up to posting again, someone who has had a similar form of cancer will no doubt get in touch.
