mine was the other way around, I was diagnosed with DCIS but post op found invasive. I have heard of lots of ladies had a combination of invasive/DCIS so I don’t think it uncommon. I also had to have a second op as had DCIS in margin but thankfully second op was a success and a MRI came back clear.

Thank you so much for your reply i hope i can get a clear margin like you please god .i just want to start treatment without further surgery, the whole process of waiting is torture, hopefully it will be all good next week.im still so sore from two surgeries . waiting is the worst part of this process but a necessary evil as we want them to be able to have the time to examine our tissue. Fingers and toes crossed for a good result, please come back and let us know how you get on x
