Lymph node tumor

Hi,

As anyone in the forum had a tumor in their lymph node, I've just been diagnosed and been referred for a urgent MRI scan which will take 2 weeks. I'm going out my mind, I'm 30 years of age a 2 year old little girl. As anyone else had this and what was the outcome. Please give me some reassurance.

  • Hi Gem88,

Welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear that you've been given this news.

It's understdnable that you're worried at the moment. Waiting for tests and results can be a particularly difficult time. The unknown can be a scary thing!

Do you know any more information about your diagnosis? Have the team said what type of cancer it is or may be? If you do know then we can try and give you some information and connect you with others on the forum who may have had the same diagnosis.

If you think that it might help you to talk to one of our team of nurses about things then please do give them a call. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

I hope that you don't have to wait too long for your MRI. Keep in touch and let us know how you're getting on.

    Best wishes,
