Hi I'm new .

i don't know if I'm posting on the correct page but here goes.

My boyfriend of 46 has just been diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma there is 2 tumours that they can see and has been told he cannot have surgery. Chemo and radiotherapy will make him very ill and he has been told he has 6-9 months...I'm looking for someone to tell me what to expect, he has refused any treatment and wishes to take it one day at a time..

  • Hi Ailsamac,

I'm so sorry to read about your boyfriend. I'm sure this is incredibly difficult for you both.

In terms of what to expect, it is always best to discuss this with your boyfriend's doctor or medical team - they're always best placed to advise specifically to him.

Otherwise, if there is anyone with similar experience that they can share, hopefully they will be along here soon.

In the meantime if you'd like to discuss anything with our nurses, you can reach them on 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.

Do feel free to continue using this forum to write down any worries or concerns you have - it's a very supportive community of people.

    Wishing you all the best,
