My partner has just had results of p.e.t scan and they show prostate cancer so we are now waiting appointment for tests etc (wondering how long the wait is)  I've titled this bitter sweet, because we went for pet scan results as he finished treatment for tonsil n right neck lymph node cancer in April, so still very sore in mouth with eating etc. Results showed tonsils/node completely clear of cancer then the doctor  start showing us the scan pics on the monitor n hit us with the prostate cancer diagnosis once again we were knocked for six, and both totally lost once again terrified and sorry but angry too, They say it's not a secondary cancer but totally separate (I dont understand this) anyone been through similar
