Hello all, it is amazing and moving to read all the stories on here. Thank you for sharing them, they give me strength. Mum was diagnosed this week with Stage 4 (no lymph involvement) lung cancer and it turns out she has the EGFR mutation and so is about to be put on Getfitinib (IRESSA). I've read what I can about the drug but wondered if anyone can give me an insight into how long it works for and what the next steps are after it stops working so well?
