Welcome to the forum and I'm really sorry to hear about the news that has brought you here. It sounds like a very difficult time for you all at the moment. 

How did you get on at Mum's appointment yesterday? Hopefully they were able to give you some positive news. Have you been allocated a specialist nurse for Mum by the oncology team or indeed by the team that have diagnosed her Alzheimers and dementia? If not do get in touch with the relevant departments and ask if there is someone that you can speak with. Hopefully they will be able to give you some advice and additional support whilst Mum is dealing with all this.
