My mom went to see the oncologist today and was told she will be commencing on Sunitinib medication for papillary renal cell carcinoma metastatic. Just wondering if anyone else has been on this medication and what your experience on it was like?
I hope you will meet some of our other members here who have been taking Sunitinib and that they will come and share their experience with you. We have information on our website on Sunitinib which you can find on this page and which I hope will give you some insights into this drug and its possible side effects.
I thought I would also do a little search for you on our forum for other members who have taken this drug before and hopefully they will be along soon to share their story with you. For example, [@spagetts2000] mentioned taking sunitinib on this thread and [@helenmdo] who posted a year ago here may also be able to tell you more about what to expect ahead of your mum's treatment.
