Hi love, my husband has lung cancer but too advanced for an operation.  So once the operation has happened they'll have a team meeting to decide the best treatment for him.  Does he have a McMillan cancer nurse, if so any questions you have they will answer, just ask Dad to give his permission so they can talk to you, that's what we did, then you'll get the right information as most patients don't remember what they have been told.  Good luck, Carol x
