Morning Lucy - I'm sorry to hear you have had this diagnosis & are going thro' this horrible waiting period. Unless you've 'been there' (I have) it's very hard for people to understand & feeling depressed is really not unusual I can assure you.

However, depression is not something you need to endure. Might I recommend you see your GP & tell him or her how badly you feel. I'm sure something can be done to help you.

You've come to the right place here for a bit of support. People will come along to talk to you & offer advice if they can AND they'll know how you feel. Talking/venting here will very likely help you feel you  are not alone & that, hopefully, will lessen your depression at least a little. But do see your GP if it's something you are not coping with.
