I don't think everything does "point that way" at all Amijane although I do understand why you feel it does. Long story short I've been in the same place you are re: bowel cancer & things have turned out fine. The GP is sending you for a scan probably just to put your mind at rest. My GP says 9 out of 10 people sent for cancer tests come back ok. Why shouldn't you be one of them? Focussing on the negative stuff is soooooo very easy when you have to wait so try to turn it around in your mind & tell yourself you'll be like me - fine!!

I don't mean to say it's easy - it isn't - waiting is HORRID as everyone on this site will tell you but there will come a day (sooner than you think) when the results will be back & you can go on from there. You aren't alone I promise. Keep posting here if you need to & you'll get lots of TLC & support from people who understand how you feel.
