Hi Susie,
Welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear that you have had a lumpectomy. Have you discussed any further treatment with your consultant?
I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 10 years, so if I can help you in any way please feel free to ask.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi Suzie,
I'm Lizzie. I had a lumpectomy on 10th. How are you doing?
Hi Eizzil,
I'm glad to hear that you have already had your lumpectomy. How have you been doing since?
Am I right in saying that you are still waiting for your pathology results? This is always a scary time.
Have you got a date for your results yet?
Do please let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi Jolamine,
Thanks for message. How are you doing?
Yes waiting for pathology results which are on 26th.
Doing ok thanks, if a little emotional at times due to aneasthetic I imagine and delayed reaction. All fine though thanks.
Best wishes to you.

Hi Jolamine,
Thank you for your lovely welcome.
I go to see my consultant at the beginning of July for the results. Feeling worried about that.
My cancer was found on an extra mammogram that is part of a trial. Our local surgery was chosen and three of us in our village were recalled. My cancer has been found early, and I am feeling very grateful.
My consultant has said that depending on my results, I will have fifteen radiotherapy sessions, Tamoxifen for five years and yearly mammograms.
Thank you for your support. It’s so comforting, to know you are there.
Kind Regards
Susie xx
Hi Lizzie,
I am doing ok thank you, hope you are too.
I managed to go for a walk with Patch, my rescue dog, and it did me good. I am still wearing the white stockings, although I am very mobille.
Hope you have a good day. Please let me know how you are doing.
Hugs Susie x
Hi Eizzil,
I suspect that your emotions are more due to your diagnosis than the anaesthetic. Most of us cry copiously and find our emotuions all over the place at this stage. It usually improves once you start treatment.
Thinking of you and hoping that your results are good.
Fingers crossed for 26th.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi Susie,
Aren’t you lucky? – not to have cancer, but to catch it as a result of a trial mammogram. Hopefully, this means that you have caught it early.
It’s reassuring to know that your treatment is all clearly defined for you – so much easier when you know exactly what is happening.
I hope that your results are good. Do please let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
