Brain tumour

My dad got diagnosed with Grade 4  Glioblastoma brain tumour in the  start  of February 2019.. a week after he had surgery could not get it all out and  allowed home a week later . Walking with Zimmer frame around the house like the speedy then  end of Feb he lost his mobility thinking it was a dropped foot .. then the discovery came that it had started to grow . So he went for his radiotherapy high dose and finishes it at the end of may .. his is bed bound . And is not well Enough for cemo .. his struggling to eat and sleeping all the time  we have the just in case box at home with him now .. is been given couple of months left . So by the look of it not having a head scan that his treatment not worked.

  • I can't really offer advice but wanted to pop in so that you don't feel alone. My great nana had this in october last year but she was frail and 94 so no treatment was done and the tumor wasn't graded. They only found it because they were looking for a stroke and we got this news instead. Sending love its not a great situation but she was pain free and just looked as if she had fallen alseep at the end. Feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to. Xx
