I had a grade 3 her2 neg oestrogen positive lump.... and a mastectomy in July 2017 ... 

Like our Steph said ... there's lots of us breast lasses on here... all different stages ... different treatments.... and they are such a lovely bunch of lasses ... some finished treatment ... some like [@Marlyn]‍ in the middle of treatment ... one lass is now expecting her little mirical.... so youll be most welcome ... they make everyone feel their not alone ... 

We've all had times we get really scared ... don't know any one that don't.. but feel whatever you feel .. tell yourself it's o.k to feel scared .. or tired .. or to just want it all to go away ...  you know the meaning of brave????  It's being scared witless but still doing what you have to anyway.... that's brave ... once you get into a routine ... you'll get back on track again ...

Cancer wants you weak .. lay down and never get up... it doesn't like it when we look it square in the eye and punch it right back.... I put my boxing gloves on ... and got a spare pair of vertual boxing gloves just waiting for you .. so when your ready .. put them on .. get in the ring .. and together well get it on the run .. you can do this ... look how far you've come ... sadly yes.... lots of people feel this way.... so much so hospitals offer courses to help deal with exactly how you are feeling. 

You are absolutely right ... when diagnosed it’s like someone grabs you by the hand and drags you along at high speed throwing you in a room for each and every appointment. Their valiant attempts to keep you up to speed with everything somehow more often than not falls between the cracks of bewilderment, uncertainty and disbelief. Then it’s all done - and as the door is slammed behind you as you leave that last appointment there feels a silence that magnifies the sounds of the cogs in your brain turning to the realisation of what you have been through. 

Everyone deals with things different- don’t be shy in coming forward to your consultants to tell them exactly how you feel and ask what help is available for you..... and take it.
