Small breast lump but in lymph nodes

Hi,

I wondered if anyone has been through a similar situation.

My friend has been diagnosed with breast cancer, they have found a very small lump (mm rather than cm). It has spread to 2-3 lymph nodes under the arm. Is this common with such a small lump?

Any advice would be greatly received

  • Hi,

The same with me.  A small 11mm Ductal Invasive cancer.  ER positive 8/8.  HER2 negative.  It had reached two lymph nodes.  I had seven nodes removed and five were clear.  They said I would have a complete scan if 4 or more were positive.  I had a clear mammogram just under three years ago.

I  asked my Incoligust why such a small lesion had been able to reach the nodes.  She said it was not more aggressive but showing peculiarities.  I had been thinking that I am usually very healthy, eat a good diet but I do take supplements.  I honestly think u made my normal cells really healthy but also my cancer cells too.

    Thats just my thoughts.
