So I have my first oncology appointment on Monday. I just wondered what I should expect. If anyone can help please xx

Hi. Ive got my appoitment letter this morning at 9am.
My expectation is a cancer nurse to explain your cancer treatment.
I am seeing the nurse to talk me through my Radiotherapy.
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in September 2021.
Oncology is nothing to worry about. you will be asked to have a SCAN before any Radiotherapy.
My cancer developed on my right breast. The scary thing was, I have no history of Breast Cancer in my Family.
Wish me luck tomorrow, and I wish you a chilled relaxed day when you see the Oncology xx .

Hello and thankyou for your concern but I posted this in 2019 I am currently just dealing with after effects etc. I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis and I wish you all the luck and love in the world. I'm here if you want to chat. This site was a huge help for me and I hope you find the same xxx
