I know two people that were both given around 6 months to live.

My auntie was 92 and was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She had an operation to remove it but refused any further treatment. My aunt went on to live for another 6 years dying of something completely unrelated. 

One of my neighbours was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer eight years ago and still going strong so it can happen. 

Sending all my love and the only advice I have to give is take each day as it comes.

Hi Lilly my hubby was given 6 to 9 months in Nov 20016 and even though his chemo symptoms have been horrendous he is still battling on Just remember that no two people react the same to treatment so the docs estimate is just that an estimate.

thank you for your comments. I think we are both numb from hearing such news, apart from what they thought was a urine infection to this news is devastating. He has no symptons apart from anaemia. Biopsy is the next step then chemo!
