So sorry you've had to join our little club ... cancer sucks ...

What a shame your surgeon won't listen to you ... I was given that option .. though I'm not having reconstruction... but l think we should be given that choice ... and it takes away the fear of getting cancer in the other breast too .. as long as you've weighed it all up .. and will be o.k with how it will look ... I was scared to look at my scar ... but when I looked for the first time .. I felt nothing but relief that it meant l was still here ... in my eyes a small price to pay ... 

If that's what you want ask for another opinion ... call McMillan and ask them what you need to do ... I'm not sure if private is better ... but think the surgeon you've got needs to look at the big picture ... this is YOUR cancer ... your boobs ... and should be your choice ... 

Good luck ... you stand your ground ... being firm but gentle is the way to go ...

Thank you for replying back, I totally agree, and I probably sound selfish talking more about the finishing look.  

Im happy for you that your good, and happy now.  I wish I was the other end now, Im so scared, even the Mri freaked me out, have the needle in my arm!! hate needles.  Still have the hard part to come yet. 

Wait wait, just want to know if its spread any further.  Im going out of my head.
