  • Hello Julie

I too live on my own and other than get support on this site.

I have bladder cancer and was refurred by consultant at the hospital to McMillion.

I was told help would be by my own GP.

I had a fall and broke my hip just after I was told of the cancer.

I was in hospital 11 weeks recovering from hip op.

I would suggest you contact the consultant that you  are under for a refurral to McMillian nurse at hospice.

My very best wishes and a big hug I do hope all goes well for you x

  • Hi, sorry to hear your news. When you have cancer the doctors have to give you an appointment the same day, just tell them you have cancer. Get in touch with Macmillan they are fantastic for sorting things out. Good luck, hear if you want to chat. Good luck.xxx
