Cervical cancer not fully.diagnosed

I have been told I have cervical cancer but haven't got full results to determine stage or if spread. My stomach is swollen and sore. I don't usually get pains. What does this mean please? I'm eager to know my full diagnoses, anxious this is telling me it's spread...don't understand the symptoms and what they mean

    Hello Lauralulu, 

    I am sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with cervical cancer and that there is still so much uncertainty as you haven't yet received your full results to determine staging and whether it has spread. Hopefully it won't be long now until you have all the details. We have in dept information on our website here on cervical cancer which you might be interested to take a look at.

    Hi Lauralulu,

    I am sorry you are going through this right now.  As Moderator Lucie said, I had stage 2A cervical cancer. I had chemo and radiation and while not pleasant, I got through it ok. What are some of your other symptoms? Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be glad to talk to you. Try not to worry too much.
