How long have you been waiting for Kings to make contact?  There may be treatment in that it can make your mum more comfortable and able to cope with the symptoms.  There may (and I am really guessing here) be more information they want to obtain about your mum's condition.  Whatever, I would be inclined to go back to the person (?your GP) who told you to wait until you hear from Kings as you are certainly entitled to some information and consideration.    What on earth has happened to our NHS - once the envy of the world!  I am not blaming individuals (although there may be some who need to be blamed) but the way the system has been run down breaks my heart when I hear these stories.  Anyway, find out what you can from your GP - you have enough sorrow and problems without being kept in ignorance.  My very best wishes.  Annie
